Working with brands
Petof is an independent affiliate site, and we occasionally hear from dog food and supplement brands interested in working with us. We are open to hearing about new or newly reformulated products worth evaluating for our rankings. Any product a brand tells us about still has to pass the same real product, verified demand, rating, and real brand checks as everything else on the site. We do not create a separate, lower bar for products submitted directly to us.
How rankings work with partnerships
Placement, ranking position, and star ratings on Petof are never for sale. A brand cannot pay to move up a list, appear in a best pick, or remove a competitor from a comparison. Our rankings are driven by the same specs, demand, and rating data for every product, regardless of who reached out to us.
Sponsored content
If we ever publish sponsored content, we will clearly label it as sponsored or as a paid partnership, separate from our independent reviews. Sponsored content will never be disguised as an objective review or ranking. As of now, Petof does not run sponsored posts, and this policy exists so readers know what to expect if that changes.
